The students at Pointe Larue Secondary School have once again demonstrated that tenacity, teamwork, and an unshakeable spirit are the keys to success where the hills echoed determination and the ocean whispered resilience.

Their recent triumph at the Port Launay competition was more than just a victory; it was evidence of their commitment, diligence, and unwavering faith that greatness can only be attained with teamwork and hard work.

A Path of Passion and Preparation

Numerous hours of planning, preparation, and a common goal of greatness prepared the way for triumph. The students dedicated their lives to honing their skills, making sure that every move, every response, and every performance demonstrated their dedication to achievement. The students' guidance, motivation, and confidence were greatly aided by our physical education teachers and coaches, Ms Gracia Dubois, Ms Lucie Auguste, and Mr Kelvin Marday.

Their support created an atmosphere in which students were inspired to go beyond their comfort zones, take on new challenges, and turn setbacks into learning experiences.

At Port Launay, the air was electric. Schools from all across the Seychelles came together, each contributing their unique skills, plans, and goals. By demonstrating their skills and winning the desired title, each squad competed fiercely. Pointe Larue Secondary students, on the other hand, stood out amid the ferocity—not only for their abilities but also for their unwavering spirit. They tackled every obstacle with assurance, fortitude, and a resolute faith in their own skills.

The students discovered that hard work, preparation, and the guts to take on obstacles head-on are just as important for success as skill. They also learned the value of unity and how wonderful things can happen when people support one another, celebrate one another's accomplishments, and work towards a common objective.

What's the rationale? A Tradition of Motivation

It has encouraged students to have big dreams, put in a lot of effort, and have faith in their own abilities. It has strengthened the belief that anything is achievable with perseverance and cooperation.
